Secant (Sec), cosecant(Cos) & cotangent(cot), very nearly each time use at sec, cosec & cot are trigonometric functions such as sin, cos & tan.

sec ∅  =    1

              cos ∅

cosec ∅ =    1     

               sin ∅

cot ∅ =      1       =   cos ∅

              tan ∅         sin ∅

Note, sec ∅ isn’t the alike as cos-1∅ (sometimes written as arcos ∅).

Dredge up, you can’t divide by 0 & so these definitions are only effective when the denominators are not 0.
